The 10th annual Lavender Graduation is slated for Wednesday, May 17, 4-8 p.m. at the Student Activity Center (SAC) Ballroom. Everyone is welcome to attend this special event that honors the achievements of graduating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally students on campus.
Please register by May 5 to be in the program and be guaranteed a rainbow tassel and certificate at the event. Registration will remain open after May 5. Go to this website to register.
The Lavender Graduation Ceremony includes:
- exhilarating speeches from UT faculty, administrators, students and alumni
- the chance to cross the lavender stage to celebrate your success, and to receive a Lavender Graduation certificate as well as a rainbow tassel
- music, cupcakes and food to share with friends, family and well-wishers
Lavender Graduation is co-hosted by the Gender and Sexuality Center, The Queer & Trans Students Alliance (QTSA) and the Queer Graduate Student Alliance (QGSA).
