Dr. Leonard Moore, interim vice president of diversity and community engagement and George Littlefield Professor of American History, will be giving a “Community Chat” on Thursday, Oct. 12, 6:30-8 p.m. in the Millennium Youth Center, 1156 Hargrave Street, east room.
Moore will discuss the continued vision of the DDCE to connect underserved communities with university resources, addressing issues of equity and access. He will also address campus climate issues and how institutions of higher education play an important role in influencing national, social, political and racial conversations.
The event, hosted by the Community Engagement Center, is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
