Fifth Graders Learn about Nature and Themselves at Outdoor School

Thirty-seven fifth-grade students at UT Elementary School took part in a unique experiential learning opportunity in September – Outdoor School. During this three-day field trip at Camp Champions in Marble Falls, TX, students learned about the natural environment while also engaging in fun and exciting personal development and team-building experiences. Activities included kayaking, rock climbing, swimming, and studying plants and animals.

Everyday SuperheroesEveryday Superheroes

Before students stepped foot on campus for the new school year, UTES teachers and staff gathered in August for the annual convocation ceremony. This year’s theme was “Everyday Super H.E.R.O.E.S. – Helping Every child Reach their Own Educational Success.”
