Sept. 9: Easter Seals Central Texas 9:30am to 12pm at Easter Seals Central Texas Headquarters (1611 Headway Circle, Building 2, Austin, TX 78754.)
Volunteers needed to assist children with disabilities 0-3 years old while their parents are meeting in a resource group. Ideally, ongoing volunteers needed for this opportunity (repeats on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.) More info and registration here!
Sept. 10: AVANCE Austin 8:30am to 5pm.
Volunteers will help the staff of the Parent- Child Education Program (PCE) set up and decorate classrooms for the new year at 5 various Elementary schools within the Austin area. (Carpooling available) Registration here!
Sept. 10 & 11: Muslims for Life Blood Drives 11am to 5pm Littlefield Fountain.
Texas AMSO hosts blood drives in remembrance of 9/11 victims and to promote the true peaceful message of Islam of saving lives, as well as condemning terrorism. More information on Texas AMSO’s Facebook.
Sept. 11: Love You group meeting 5-6pm L. Theo Bellmont Hall (BEL).
Group focuses on issues (i.e. power and control, jealousy, insecurity, communication styles, conflict styles and the latest trends) in relationships. Open to ALL students.
Sept. 12: Monthly Play Group 3:15 to 5:15pm a Easter Seals Central Texas Headquarters (1611 Headway Circle, Building 2, Austin, TX 78754.)
Volunteers needed who have experience working with children to assist in their monthly Play Group. This gives the Easter Seals Central Texas children and their parents a day of fun and activities. Register here!

UT Challah for Hunger
Make and braid challah dough every Tuesday from 3:30-6pm at Texas Hillel (located on 21st and San Antonio.) On Wednesdays from 10-12pm help bake. Bread is sold to raise money to help feed Darfur refugees. Check out UTCFH Facebook for more information!
Asian American Resource Center
Volunteer as an instructor every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am-12pm. Duties include: helping Seniors in their Recreational and Intergenerational Community Education Program with technology questions and basic computer skills. Register here!
UT Concho Community Garden
Volunteers needed every Thursday from 5pm to 7pm and Sunday from 9am to 12pm at the UT Concho Community Garden (Located on E. 21st St. and Concho St.) Help with: weeding, planting, helping with compost, decorating, as well as find out some new tricks about growing your own vegetables. Easter Seals Central Texas
Easter Seals Central Texas are looking for people to assist with Front Desk duties every Friday from 12:30 to 4:30pm. They will play an important role in assuring that smiles are brought to the faces of children and adults with disabilities that may visit the office. Register here!

Volunteers needed every Saturday from 11am to 1pm to help maintain the newly planted Texas-native landscaping in order to keep it nice for guests and locals that bike or hike on the trails. Register here!
