The following days/times are when an SSD coordinator will be available for individual meetings without an appointment. Walk In meetings are intended to be 15 minutes or less in length and are for students who have a pressing matter, have general questions about SSD and receiving accommodations, or are unable to make an appointment with their regular SSD coordinator.
Attending a Walk In appointment does not fulfill the requirements to register with our office. See How to Register for more information.
You are always encouraged to schedule an appointment versus relying solely on walk-in availability. In this way, you will be able to meet with the coordinator most familiar with your situation and have more time available with your coordinator. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (512) 471-6259.
The walk-in schedule is 10am-3pm each weekday and SSD coordinators rotate coverage throughout the week.
Monday – Emily Shryock
Tuesday – Kristen Anton
Wednesday – MarloJo Scroggins
Thursday – Heather Kaplan
Friday – Stephanie Bullick
The concealed carry of handguns is prohibited in patient care areas at UT Austin, including those areas in which professional mental health services are provided. Because a significant majority of the Student Services Building (SSB) is devoted to patient care, the entire SSB is exempt from the concealed carry of handguns. For more information visit the Campus Carry website: https://campuscarry.utexas.edu/.
* Students who come in before or after the available walk-in times for the day will be encouraged to come back or to schedule an appointment.
** The specific coordinator available is subject to change.
Please contact Services for Students with Disabilities via e-mail or at 471-6259 if you need to make an appointment or if you would like to learn more about our programs and services.
