The Campus Climate Response Team has released the first Campus Climate Trend Report with data collected on bias incidents during the 2012-2013 academic year (including summer 2013). The report is available online by clicking here.

“Because the CCRT includes representatives from a number of campus units, the entire campus community benefits from their efforts to address bias concerns and educate the community,” said Dr. Gregory J. Vincent, vice president for diversity and community engagement, to whom the team reports. “The first Campus Climate Trend Report produced by the CCRT offers an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to reflect on our campus climate and culture. Creating an inclusive campus is a responsibility for each of us at the university, and I hope this report prompts dialogue and reflection as we work together to achieve this goal.”

The creation and operation of CCRT is part of the implementation plan of the Campus Culture goal of the DDCE Strategic Plan. Anyone encountering a situation that requires immediate police, medical, psychological or other emergency services should call 911 or the University of Texas Police Department (UTPD) at 512-471-4441 for assistance, during regular business hours and during the evening, weekends and holidays.
