Support NLP, Coach Smart in the Infiniti Challenge!

promo Smart coaches challengeVoting began January 4 in the Infinity Coaches’ Charity Challenge. UT Austin basketball coach Shaka Smart has chosen the Neighborhood Longhorns Program as his charity. NLP could receive up to $100,000 if Coach Smart prevails! Vote early and often. First round voting is between Jan. 4-24. During that round the number of coaches will be cut from 48 to 24. There are four rounds with the final round ending March 13th. Each time a coach advances his charity wins more money. Vote daily at http://espn.com/infiniti.

The Neighborhood Longhorns Program is an incentive-based learning program that helps economically disadvantaged youth build a strong academic future. Each year NLP serves approximately 6,000 students in Title I schools, grades 2-8. Students have the opportunity to visit the UT Austin campus, meet student-athletes and coaches, and attend camps, workshops, and sporting and cultural events.
