The evening will include a one-on-one conversation with Dr. Peniel Joseph, director of the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and author of Dark Days, Bright Nights: From Black Power to Barack Obama and Professor Michael Higginbotham, professor of law at the University of Baltimore and author of Ghosts of Jim Crow: Ending Racism in Post-Racial America.
