A College of Education research study is seeking undergraduate students who identify as Latina and are from small towns or rural communities. This study builds on work that looks at rural students more generally, and will focus on the unique experiences of Latina students who have moved away from their rural communities in order to pursue their college degree.

The study includes participation in a short survey and two interviews that will last approximately an hour.  The interviews will be recorded and transcribed. Personal information will remain confidential. Participants will be asked to provide artifacts or documents that may be relevant to the study. The study has been approved by The University of Texas at Austin Office of Research Support (IRB study number 2015-01-0038).
