IE Citizen Scholars Program Announces 2016-17 Co-Presidents

Two College of Natural Sciences seniors, Amie Tran and Anisha Mehra, have been elected co-presidents of the Intellectual Entrepreneurship (IE) Citizen Scholars for the 2016-17 academic year. Marina Escalante, a computer science junior, will serve as vice president.
IE Citizen Scholars is the official student organization of the Intellectual Entrepreneurship Consortium. The program aims to create a campus network where students can build and own their IE initiatives, expand IE’s college representation across campus, and make the IE Consortium more efficient in recruiting students for the IE Pre-Graduate Internship. Past presidents include: Oscar Ayala (2010-2011), Sarah Kettles (2011-2012), Paulina Sosa (2012-2013), Jelisa Robinson (2013-2014), Ignacio Cruz (2014-2015) and Marina Khalid (2015-2016).
One of the major events administered by the IE Citizen Scholars is the annual IE Research Contest.
