Heman Sweatt Symposium: Dr. Vincent Presents on Affirmative Action
In conjunction with his Spring 2017 law class, Race and the Law: Exploring the Law through Critical Race Theory and Other Lenses, Dr. Gregory J. Vincent presented his lecture on affirmative action Wednesday evening, titled “From Plessy to Fisher, The Quest for Racial Justice: Then and Now.” The next lecture, on Freedom of Speech in the Academy, will take place Wednesday, April 12, 2017; 4:30-6:00 p.m. at the UT Law School in the Francis Auditorium (TNH 2.114). These lectures are also part of the Heman Sweatt Symposium on Civil Rights and the DDCE 10th Anniversary Lecture Series.
