Support UT Elementary, Neighborhood Longhorns During 40 for Forty!
It’s that time of year! 40 Hours for the Forty Acres, the annual university-wide fundraising event, is upon us. From April 12-13, donors will have 40 hours to make a contribution to an important cause here in the DDCE and across the university.
All Longhorns — students, alumni, faculty and staff alike — are encouraged to participate. Large or small, every gift matters. Please consider making your gift today to support the Neighborhood Longhorns Program and/or UT Elementary School.
UT Elementary School is a public, open-enrollment charter school, operated by The University of Texas at Austin, that serves 304 East Austin students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade annually. Little Longhorns leave UTES fully prepared to succeed academically.
The Neighborhood Longhorns Program is The University of Texas at Austin’s outreach program for Title I elementary and middle schools in Austin. The program helps more than 5,000 second- through eighth-grade students increase their overall grade-point-average and attendance by giving them tutors and incentives.
