Intellectual Entrepreneurship Program Announces 2017-18 Officers

The Intellectual Entrepreneurship Program (IE), housed within the DDCE and Moody College of Communication, has announced two student officers for the 2017-18 academic year.

Image of student standing under a tree In addition to beginning law school at UT this fall, IE Pre Grad Internship alumna Priscille Kazadi will become the vice president of Law Students Mentoring Undergraduates—an organization of UT law students that collaborates and partners with IE to coordinate law student mentors for the IE Pre Grad Internship program. Priscille will work with former Pre Grad intern Vanessa Chorush who serves as the President of this organization.

Image of student in pink shirtAmie Tran, who will begin graduate study in the LBJ School of Public Affairs this fall, has been re-elected president of the Intellectual Entrepreneurship (IE) Citizen Scholars for the 2017-18 academic year. IE Citizen Scholars is the official student organization of the IE Consortium. The program aims to create a campus network where students can build and own their IE initiatives, expand IE’s college representation across campus and make the IE Consortium more efficient in recruiting students for the IE Pre-Graduate Internship.

Past presidents include: Oscar Ayala (2010-11), Sarah Kettles (2011-12), Paulina Sosa (2012-13), Jelisa Robinson (2013-14), Ignacio Cruz (2014-15) and Marina Khalid (2015-16), Anisha Mehra and Amy Tran (2016-17).
