The Intellectual Entrepreneurship (IE) program has recently received a Badge of Excellence from Excelencia in Education, a national nonprofit that aims to accelerate Latino student success in higher education by linking research, policy and practice.

This digital recognition is given to programs that previously have been recognized as an “Example of Excelencia” and are part of the “Growing What Works” database—an online effort to share evidence-based practices with institutional leaders, funders, stakeholders and others interested in Latino student success.

Housed within the DDCE and the Moody College of Communication, IE is a cross-disciplinary program that connects undergraduates with faculty and graduate students to help them align their passions with their career goals.
