UT’s Largest Day of Service Returns to Rundberg Neighborhood at the 19th Annual Project
Hundreds of University of Texas at Austin volunteers are expected to participate in The Project, the university’s largest day of service, on Saturday, Feb. 24, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at various locations around the Rundberg neighborhood. A lineup o speakers will kick off the event at Dobie Middle School.
Established in 1999 by the Longhorn Center for Community Engagement at UT Austin, The Project is the annual culmination of a 12-month partnership effort involving UT student volunteers, city government departments, community organizations and local businesses.
The 19th annual Project will include various neighborhood beautification projects to be completed by volunteers at 13 work sites throughout the Northeast Austin neighborhood. Go here for an area map and a list of work sites.
