LCAE STEM Initiatives Director to Speak at March for Science
Dr. Rodolfo Jimenez, Jr., director of STEM Initiatives for the Longhorn Center for Academic Excellence, will be a guest speaker at the March for Science event on April 14 in San Antonio. He is one of three accomplished scientists who will be speaking at the event.
The March for Science is a non-partisan, apolitical collaboration celebrating science. The goal of the event is to ramp up support for science advocacy and STEM education. The 2.1-mile round-trip march begins and returns at Jefferson High School. Visit this website for more details.
Jimenez specializes in the field of Cellular and Molecular Biology / STEM Education. As a STEM coordinator he is responsible for assisting students in the Life Sciences academically, as well as advising students wanting to attend a health profession programs or graduate school after completion of their undergraduate degree.
