Celebrate Product Prodigy Students at Impact Hub May 16
The Product Prodigy Institute is a semester-long class that takes students from underprivileged and underrepresented backgrounds through the process of creating and learning the hard/soft skills for launching a venture. Rubén Cantú, executive director of DDCE’s Office of Inclusive Innovation and Entrepreneurship explains, “Students have been trained very well to get good grades, then get a good job. I’m telling them to start a company.” Cantú’s class helps students gain the skills to start a venture from the ground up, but also provides a safety net. He says, “My class is like a mini-MBA.”

Students in the Product Prodigy Institute will be celebrated for their entrepreneurial endeavors Thursday, May 16 at Impact Hub (located at 5540 N. Lamar Blvd.). Join us as they pitch their product or service that validates customer demand, but also addresses a social equity challenge.
We promise you will be wowed by these students and their ideas! RSVP on Eventbrite.
