title slide Werk.Glo.SlayWerk.Glo.Slay. is a one-day event that will bring together diverse speakers from Austin companies, business leaders, and women’s groups to inspire action and propel women to realize their potential and learn new strategies to reach new heights. Guests will gain access to practical and actionable advice on leadership, entrepreneurship, self-care, self-development, and more! The day features a keynote panel conversation with Advisory Board Members from WIELD Texas, a new leadership pilot for women from diverse backgrounds out of the Office of Inclusive Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UT Austin, and breakout werkshops.

“We have worked the last few years to create spaces for women to learn, grow, and find support,” says Ashton Lynne Haywood-Rondon, Founder of Women Who Werk. “This event allows us to impact more women at the same time. We are beyond excited to offer this powerful event in Austin because women need more opportunities to connect and learn.”

“It is our honor to bring forth and support this innovative conference. It is only when we become intentional about raising the conversation of equity and put women of color at the center who will lead can we begin to see the possibility of systemic change,” says Rubén Cantú,  executive director, Office of Inclusive Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Werk.Glo.Slay is powered by Women Who Werk, The University of Texas’ Inclusive Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department, WIELD Texas,  The University of Texas’ McCombs MSTC Department, Bumble Bizz, The Austin Socialite, Hearts 2 Heal, Blackstone LaunchPad at UT and more!
