Celebrate Austin's LGBTQ+ community at the annual Austin PRIDE Parade

Show off your burnt orange and rainbow pride by attending the annual Austin PRIDE Parade on Saturday, Aug. 20! The parade will take place in the evening in downtown Austin. Follow the Gender and Sexuality Center’s (GSC) Instagram page @GSCatUT for more updates.

Come visit our friends at the GSC, who will be sharing a booth with several student organizations. And be sure to stop by and say hello to representatives from the Pride and Equity Faculty and Staff Association and The Texas Exes Pride Alumni Network.

Pride Day Details:
- Festival: Stop by and say hello to your friends at the Gender and Sexuality Center, the Pride and Equity Faculty and Staff Association and the Texas Exes Pride Alumni Network at The Festival happening at Fiesta Gardens, 2101 Jesse E Segovia Street, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Ticket information can be found on the Austin PRIDE website.
- Parade: UT volunteers will gather to set up and prepare for the parade at the staging location (TBD) around 7:30 p.m. The march is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. near 11th Street and the Texas Capitol and end at 11 p.m. The march will be a total distance of around 12 blocks traveling down Congress and ending at Cesar Chavez. RSVP to get email updates on the day of the parade about when and where the official staging location will be.
