DDCE Spring Graduation Celebrations

We raise our horns to all our spring 2023 graduates! Listed below are the DDCE’s many graduation celebrations happening on campus. Good luck to all our new alumni and hook ‘em!

Lavender Graduation
What: Join the 16th annual Lavender Graduation & LGBTQIA+ Alumni Reception hosted by the Gender and Sexuality Center and several campus partners. This special ceremony aims to celebrate the accomplishments of UT’s LGBTQIA+ and allied graduates, support them in a community, and inspire them to look toward the future with possibility. First-Gen Grad
What: First-Gen Grad recognizes the achievements of all graduating students who will be the first in their families to earn a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university. Visit the First-Gen Longhorns website for more information. Note: The event is now closed for attendance.

Disability Graduation
What: Join Disability and Access, the Disability Cultural Center and campus partners for UT’s Disability Graduation! Disability Graduation is a time to celebrate our disabled graduates and those graduating with the Critical Disability Studies portfolio/minor! Black Graduation
What: Black Graduation is an annual event that celebrates the achievements made by graduating students who identify as African and African American. The event is hosted by the Afrikan American Affairs student agency within the MEC. Visit the MEC website for more information.

GraduAsian
What: The Asian Desi Pacific Islander American Collective student agency within the MEC is hosting GraduAsian, a ceremony that celebrates the many achievements of Asian American students. Visit the GraduAsian website for more information.

Latinx Graduation
What: Hosted by the Latinx Community Affairs student agency within the MEC, Latinx Graduation celebrates the accomplishments, successes and achievements of all the Latinx graduates. Visit the MEC website for more information.
