Mark Your Calendars for Austin PRIDE!

All are invited to come celebrate our city’s LGBTQIA+ community at the annual Austin PRIDE Parade on Saturday, Aug. 12, 8-11 p.m. in the downtown area (near 11th Street and the Texas Capitol). You can find Gender & Sexuality Center (GSC) students and staff at Fiesta Gardens (2101 Jesse Segovia St.) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., where they will be tabling.
Show off your burnt orange and rainbow pride by walking with the UT Float, which will be led by the GSC and several campus partners, including the Pride and Equity Faculty and Staff Association, the Texas Exes Pride Alumni Network, Dell Medical School and Texas Athletics. The parade and festival are free and open to the public. More info can be found on the Austin Pride website.
