Why I Serve Statement:
I am thankful and excited to serve with Alternative Breaks this spring break because I know that we can make an impactful mark on our world. I serve because of the obligation we have to help those around us, and to make the Earth a more loving place. I am grateful to be a part of Alternative Breaks because the program is dedicated to doing everything in it’s power for positive change. The actions occuring at the border are very prominent human rights issues, and we are here to help the South Texas community in any way that we can.
