The Division of Diversity and Community Engagement’s Human Resources office provides human resource administration and assistance to the VP’s Office and DDCE departments/units. DDCE HR provides resources for department contacts who manage HR processes within the Division.
These include:
- Post and monitor job vacancies
- Participate in selection committees for recruitment efforts
- Employee relations
- Onboarding/offboarding of staff and student employees
- Coordination of performance management
- Manage the timekeeping system
- Maintain personnel files
- Monitoring compliance with UT policies concerning work authorization, background checks, and required University compliance training.
- Analyzing and reporting information for management decision making
- Review and coordination of personnel action forms and other forms requiring VP approval.
