Oct. 21-22: “Building Bridges” Art Celebration and Auction 10am to 10pm

Oct. 24: Longhorn Lights Out 6:30pm to 9pm. Location shared once you register.
Longhorn Lights Out is a campus wide event open to all students, faculty and staff! On the night of LLO, groups of volunteers turn off lights, unplug personal electronics and power down computers around campus. Register here!
Oct. 25: Dia de los Muertos Festival Volunteers
Easter Seals Central Texas needs your help in hosting their second annual Dia de los Muertos Festival. This includes helping out with activities, decorating, and assisting wherever needed. Registration here!
Oct. 27: Dia de Los Muertos Celebration Oct. 27 — Nov. 1
The annual day of the dead celebration is the biggest event at the ESB-MACC. This day is held as an indigenous Mexican holiday that celebrates the life cycle through the building of temporary altars to commemorate loved ones who have passed. Volunteers needed for many events. UT Concho Community Garden
Volunteers needed every Thursday from 5pm to 7pm and Sunday from 9am to 12pm at the UT Concho Community Garden (Located on E. 21st St. and Concho St.) Come help out with things like: weeding, planting, helping with compost, decorating, as well as find out some new tricks about growing your own vegetables. Easter Seals Central Texas
Easter Seals Central Texas is looking for people to assist with Front Desk duties every Friday from 12:30 to 4:30pm. They will play an important role in assuring that smiles are brought to the faces of children and adults with disabilities that may visit the office. Register here.
Texas Advocacy Project
Lend out a helping hand to the Texas Advocacy Project as they prepare for their fundraising event known as the Black and White Ball. Shifts will start around 10am and end at 2pm. Last day of volunteering will be October 16th. For more information, click here!
Halloween Event at Hostel
