EVENT DESCRIPTION
As Austin continues to grapple with the realities of economic segregation and the effects of gentrification and social displacement, it’s critical to explore how these specific issues impact underserved communities. One such community includes individuals and family members of those who have formerly been incarcerated and are currently navigating the process of securing housing and employment. Join us as we explore how Austin’s rise in cost of living, shortage in affordable housing and changing community demographics influence the re-entry process and identify models for developing resources that serve all of Austin’s residents.
