Connecting Community, Resources, and Thought Leadership
The Community Engagement Center introduces the Community Education Exchange (CEE). CEE is a six week course with the goal to connect community members seeking to be informed and engaged with the Austin community with resources and thought leadership that help address community needs. CEE encourages community members to share knowledge on topics important to their communities and to connect with the people and resources at UT and in our community.
All courses will be co-facilitated by UT Austin faculty/staff and local community members/leaders at accessible locations across Austin. Fostering a true exchange of learning, class participants are encouraged to contribute their skills and experiences for the learning of everyone in attendance. By bringing access to relevant and timely data, research, and expertise to these courses, we hope to inform conversations and strengthen the work being done in the community.
