The UT Community Engagement Collective (CEC) is a network of students passionate about community engagement and social justice. The CEC’s vision is that all UT students will be active citizens, and the collective is an organization where anyone can find a place to get involved. The collective’s goal is to create community by leveraging university resources to meet community priorities.
COMMITTEES
The Collective is made up of 6 committees:
- Community Relations
- Culture & Membership
- Education
- Outreach & Development
- Special Events
- Trips
The structure of the collective deliberately limits hierarchy, and much like a traditional model of community organizing, is designed to be a group partnership of shared goals and leadership responsibilities.
APPLICATIONS CURRENTLY OPEN:
Committee Chairs: leaders of each committee. Chair positions are specific in their focus, but designed to work as part of a team to lead their specific committee.
