October is Texas Persons with Disabilities History and Awareness Month and National Disabilities Employment Awareness Month. Here at UT, we host a number of events in October to engage our campus and community in learning about disability. But we don’t want people to just be aware of disability; we want to actively work to improve access and inclusion of people with disabilities. To work toward that goal, we are working with campus partners to put together a variety of events throughout the month of October to educate and promote advocacy about disability and inclusion at UT.
