Important November 1st Deadlines!
Two very important deadlines are TODAY! Please read below and plan accordingly if you need to do a course load reduction or schedule a test with SSD.
Course Load Reduction/Q-Drop
Undergraduate students who need to drop a class for disability-related reasons must turn in their completed course load reduction application to the SSD office by 5pm on Thursday November 1st. Application and more information are available on the SSD website.
SSD Test Reservation
All accommodated tests for Fall 2018, including finals, that need to be taken at SSD must be reserved in the SSD Web Portal by Thursday November 1st at midnight. You will still be able to turn in signed confirmation forms from instructors after this date but the tests must be reserved in the Web Portal by November 1st.
As a reminder, you should only reserve space to test at SSD if your instructor is unable to accommodate you. Check out more information about using your testing accommodations.
Contacting SSD
This is a busy time of year for students and staff. You are always welcome to contact your Coordinator with questions or concerns related to your accommodations but be aware that this time of year it may take longer than usual for your Coordinator to respond. We recommend checking the SSD website first since it may be faster to find answers there instead of waiting for your Coordinator to respond.
EY Virtual Coaching Sessions for Students with Disabilities
EY is offering virtual career coaching sessions specifically for students with disabilities on November 13th. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about future career opportunities with EY, inquire about accommodations in the workplace, or practice your interview skills.
These 15 minute career coaching sessions will be offered virtually either through Skype or Google Hangout. For more information or to sign up click here
Student Representative Positions for DDCE Community Integrated Health Initiative Steering Committee

The purpose of CIHI is an initiative dedicated to reducing health and mental health inequities at the University and the Central Texas Community. Initial participation will be one meeting a month with the opportunity for additional involvement and connection with leaders across campus over time.
