Deadlines
Important Notice: SSD Test Reservation Deadline
We are aware that the SSD Web Portal was down this past weekend. The University IT department was doing an update that impacted our portal, and we were not aware this was happening. The portal is now back up, and you should be able to log on.
We have extended the exam reservation deadline to Thursday, April 4th. Students who also had exams scheduled two weeks (10 business days) from the days the portal was down (Friday, March 29th and Monday, April 1st) should also still be able to log in and schedule those exams. You will still be able to turn in signed confirmation forms from instructors after this date but the tests must be reserved in the Web Portal by April 4th.
Please log in and schedule all of your exams ASAP. If you are still having issues, contact me your Disabilities Services Coordinator directly.
As a reminder, you should only reserve space to test at SSD if your instructor is unable to accommodate you. Check out more information about using your testing accommodations.
April 8th: Course Load Reduction/Q-Drop
Undergraduate students who need to drop a class for disability-related reasons must turn in their completed course load reduction application to the SSD office by 5pm on Monday April 8th. Application and more information are available on the SSD website.
Monday April 22nd: Priority Registration: Undergraduate students approved for priority registration will be able to register from 2pm-midnight on April 22nd. Check your email or the SSD website for updates and instructions for using this accommodation.

Student Research
A UT student is conducting research on the experiences of students with disabilities in order to develop recommendations on ways to make universities more accessible and inclusive.
Currently enrolled college students with disabilities over the age of 18 are invited to complete a short online survey that takes 15-20 minutes. Upon completion of the survey, you may choose to participate further through an optional follow-up interview.
