November 22nd CTC Test Reservation Deadline
In order to ensure that the Campus Testing Center (CTC) has sufficient space and staff to proctor high volume test dates, students requesting accommodated tests in the CTC will need to submit all remaining test requests for fall 2021, including final exams, before the November 22nd, 2021 deadline. Instructors will continue to confirm tests a minimum of 3-business days prior to the test date.

Students on the Spectrum Group
The Students on the Spectrum group is a support group for students who have been diagnosed with autism or who identify as autistic. This group is a partnership between SSD and Longhorn TIES and seeks to provide advocacy, support, and resources for students on the autism spectrum while they are in college and as they prepare to transition out of UT.

Prioritizing Your Well-Being
The Counseling and Mental Health Center offers 24/7 confidential virtual counseling (single session or short term and immediate or scheduled) available via phone and chat. You can schedule telehealth appointments with a licensed counselor. Support is also available in multiple languages (English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and French).
They have also put together a page of resources and ideas for taking care of yourself. Consider trying one or two of these activities this week!

Financial Support for Students with Disabilities
SSD is accepting applications for the James M. Young Endowment, which provides funding for UT students with disabilities needing financial support for educational or disability-related expenses. Apply online.
