Accommodations for Final Exams
Don’t forget to check in with your instructors at least 5 business days prior to your final exam to make sure the exam is confirmed and you are all set for using your accommodations. SSD has more information about using Testing Accommodations for Online Exams on our website.
Appreciation Award Nominations
This has been a tough semester for students, faculty and staff and there is no better way to recognize a UT faculty or staff member who made a positive difference in your semester than by nominating them for an SSD Appreciation Award! Introducing SSD’s New Disabilities Services Coordinators
SSD is excited to welcome Robbie Day and Camryn Callaway to the SSD team. Get to know them by reading their bios on our website. Robbie and Camryn will be sending a welcome email to their students in January when we return from winter break.
Prioritizing Your Well-Being
The Counseling and Mental Health Center offers 24/7 confidential virtual counseling (single session or short term and immediate or scheduled) available via phone and chat. You can schedule telehealth appointments with a licensed counselor. Support is also available in multiple languages (English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and French).
They have also put together a page of resources and ideas for taking care of yourself. Consider trying one or two of these activities this week!

Financial Support for Students with Disabilities
SSD is accepting applications for the James M. Young Endowment, which provides funding for UT students with disabilities needing financial support for educational or disability-related expenses. Applications received after December 10th will be reviewed in January: Apply online.
