Membership Responsibilities: The duration of the advisory committee term is one academic year. Members will serve from the beginning of the fall semester through the end of the following spring semester. Expectations for members include 1) commitment to making a positive contribution to the awareness and experience of UT students with disabilities, 2) willingness to provide and receive input and feedback in a constructive and collaborative manner and 3) availability to attend monthly committee meetings (3rd Monday of the month from 9-10am from September 2022-May 2023). Meetings will be conducted either via Zoom or a combination of in person and Zoom options.
Additional information and instructions about applying to become a member of the Faculty Advisory Committee are included in the linked D&A FAC Description 22-23. Questions about the Committee and statements of interest can be sent to Carlie West at email@example.com by September 1st. The Faculty Advisory Committee plays a key role in helping Disability & Access to identify areas for improvement and to develop strategies or implement changes to ensure students with disabilities have equal access to their academic experience.
We look forward to recruiting a diverse and dedicated group of instructors to work with during the 2022-2023 academic year!
