The concealed carry of handguns is prohibited in patient care areas at UT Austin, including those areas in which professional mental health services are provided. Because a significant majority of the Student Services Building (SSB) is devoted to patient care, the entire SSB is exempt from the concealed carry of handguns. Camryn Callaway supervises Access Coordinators, trains new D&A staff, and serves as the primary point of contact for campus stakeholders regarding student-related accessibility questions.
Maurice Renfro is responsible for maintaining policy and process consistency within the department, training new D&A staff, and directing the D&A intern program.
