Based in the philosophy that all students should be assured equal access and opportunity, Disability and Access works to eliminate physical, instructional and attitudinal barriers by providing reasonable accommodations and fostering awareness within the University community.
As part of our effort to reduce barriers for students with disabilities, D&A is engaged in outreach to students, faculty, and staff on campus. In order to reach the larger UT community, D&A participates in tabling events, conducts trainings, and hosts events in order to raise awareness and reduce stigma relating to disabilities and accommodations.
Please join us in our efforts to to create a more accessible and inclusive environment for students with disabilities at the University of Texas at Austin!
