About Dynamics of Diversity

Dynamics of Diversity is an action-based program with case scenarios that come from our presenters’ direct experience. The subject matter experts who designed the Dynamics of Diversity curriculum represent departments across the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin, including the Office for Inclusion and Equity, the disABILITY Advocate Program, the Gender and Sexuality Center, and the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health, among others.

Who We Are


The Dynamics of Diversity administrators are here to support your entire learning process, from an initial discussion to find the best training package for your needs, to sharing your feedback with the presenters and facilitators. The administrators have a comprehensive understanding of all the training courses and options available to ensure fit. The administrators also manage the Dynamics of Diversity learning management system and handle course scheduling logistics.

Yeo Ju Choi

Senior Student Program Coordinator

Yeo Ju Choi is a lifelong learner committed to effecting transformation through education. She is a senior student program coordinator at the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement with an MBA from the McCombs School of Business. Yeo Ju works to help people see the boundaries of the institutions that define their experience and give them the tools to challenge and speak back to those boundaries.

What We Do

We are a learning resource for diversity and inclusion. We offer tools to drive courageous and respectful discourse about difference. Our objective is to foster a core learning stance toward diversity and inclusion in all organizations.

Begin the work of prioritizing diversity personally and professionally by learning the vocabulary, helpful frameworks, and conceptual tools necessary to show up to diversity conversations ready to engage.

We strive to establish a solid knowledge base about various diversity and inclusion subject areas such as disability, gender, sexuality, mental health, and implicit bias. We then invite our learners to integrate their knowledge through case study discussions under the guidance of daily diversity and inclusion practitioners who represent programs across the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin.
