3. AmazonSmile
Q: Can AmazonSmile be used in conjunction with our UT Business Prime account?
A: [KC] Amazon Smile can be used in conjunction to the UT Business Prime account. Each user will individually have to navigate to smile.amazon.com and set up their charity of their choice. It is recommended they bookmark amazon.smile.com and use that link to shop vs. the amazon.com route to ensure % of purchase is donated to the charity.
4. Merging Existing Business Prime Accounts
Q: Previous Business Prime account holders have up to 100 people on their account, sharing access. When these previous Business Prime account holders merge over, will users who have access to the existing Business account move over as well or just the account holder who’s email address we are merging?
A: [KC] You can invite the admin on an existing account with 100 users. (only the admin needs to get invited) Once they accept the invite, Admins from the centralized UT account will receive an email requesting that accounts “merge”. If you accept the merge you can transfer over all users at once. You will be guided step by step from that email.
Q: As a follow-up to the question above, if we do not want those extra 100 people to join, will only the administrator merge? The administrator does not want to bring over the same individuals.
A: In that case, that admin will need to be manually removed from the business account they are currently in by another admin within that account. Once they are removed from that business account you can send them an invite by clicking the add people button within business settings and selecting the correct group they belong to.
Removing them from the other business account first will no longer have them tied to a Multi-user account and won’t merge people over.
5. Adding Amazon Business Prime Buying Policies to your account:
If you have not yet added buying policies and approvers to your Amazon Business Prime account, below are the steps to do so. Orders that are placed now on Amazon Business Prime without approvers listed on the account will be automatically approved.
Add a spending limit buying policy ($1 or more) and add an approver to that buying policy. Any orders over $1 will route to the approver to approve.
