Study Abroad Scholarship Opportunity

The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) has a scholarship opportunity for promising students with financial need who wish to study abroad. Potential DDCE Study Abroad participants are encouraged to apply as the Maymester programs fulfill the scholarships requirements. Deadline for the Spring 2021 application cycle is September 16th, 2020.

Housed within the Longhorn Center for Academic Equity, Global Leadership and Social Impact (GLSI) provides accessible education abroad programs in four different destinations across the globe: the United Arab Emirates, Senegal, Mexico and South Africa.

Many of the students participating in GLSI are underrepresented in study abroad programs across the nation. With about 80% of participants who identify as Black and Latino, the GLSI is moving the needle on the study abroad gap—showing students the many possibilities of world travel.
