J. Daniel Caballero is a third-year student at The University of Texas at Austin studying Sociology and Arabic. He is from Dallas, TX and comes from a Salvadoran-American background. At UT, Daniel is a part of the Program Design Team, which creates educational programming for underrepresented students to achieve academic success abroad, through DDCE Global Student Fellows. Daniel served the Cape Town community through service-learning, while also studying Urban Economic Development at The University of Cape Town. At UT, he also performs in the University Chorus and is a member of the Hispanic Business Students Association. This summer, he plans on studying in Havana, Cuba with Dr. Jossianna Arroyo-Martinez.
