–
October 8, 2020
~Save the date~
Come one, come all to the Gender and Sexuality Center’s screening of the documentary “Crip Camp” followed by a discussion on disability and feminism! Featured panelists Alison Kafer, Jasmine Bell, Nick Winges-Yanez, and Billie Rain will discuss disability justice -- how it came to be and where we are today – and how feminism isn’t intersectional if disability is not included. They will discuss the overlaps of both movements, cross-issue solidarity, and the history of the disability rights movement – all within the context of the stellar documentary, “Crip Camp”.
