Knowledge and Noms: Veronica Heiskell from the Vick Center, Queer & Feminist Career Considerations

Veronica has helped students explore major and career options for over four years. She received her master of arts in Counseling & Guidance in Higher Education at California Polytechnic State University and her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles with a major in psychology and a minor in lesbian, gay, bisexual, & transgender studies. Veronica discovered her love of higher education and serving students serving two terms in AmeriCorps and has worked in a variety of positions in diversity centers, career centers, academic advising, and housing. Veronica coordinates the career counseling practicum program. She is excited to help students discover their strengths and identify potential career paths.
