National Young Women's Day of Action: Humanities In Activism
October 27, 2021
Social change isn’t all politicians and capitol hill. Sometimes it’s the muralist painting the side of the bodega, the journalist interviewing a guest speaker, or the teacher creating new curricula. How do we understand the humanities not as incidental but integral to social change?
At this year’s National Young Women’s Day of Action (NYWDOA), we will sit down (virtually) with a panel of activists to discuss their experience using the arts as a conduit for social change. This year, we’re excited to feature a conversation with Delita Martin, Nicole Neidhart, and Miru Yogarajah.
Join us for our virtual luncheon on Wednesday, October 27th at 1pm CST.
Access Statement: This event will be on Zoom with live captioning provided. If you have questions or need additional accommodations, please email us at email@example.com at least 3 days before the event.
