Latinx Leadership Institute
An annual program to discuss all things Latinx and develop new skills to bring change to our community. These workshops enable students to get their voices heard and get a conversation going across the topics covered.
Latinx Leadership Summit
Latinx Community Affairs presents their annual two-day summit which will be held the weekend of March 25- March 26th, 2023. The 2023 Latinx Leadership Summit theme is Rise Up or Ascender. We’ll examine our theme through the lens of Healthcare, Political Advocacy, Media/Arts, and Tech and delve into how these matters impact our leadership within a social justice framework. We strive to highlight the strength and value our people have through our diversity while simultaneously understanding how we can better support and take care of one another across different industries. We’re inviting students in the UT community at the collegiate level to learn how to use their cultural identity as an advantage rather than a barrier to rise up to higher positions of influence. We want everyone to be able to view themselves as people with power – power to lift their community into further success in the future. LLS will comprise of an entire day of learning and connecting on Saturday, March 25th, and will continue in the afternoon of Sunday, March 26th. Our summit will be filled with keynote speakers, interactive workshops, delicious authentic food, and of course, opportunities to network.
