This discussion group is designed to provide a welcoming and confidential space to talk about issues that queer folks face, including (but not limited to): family, friends, academics, sexual and gender identity, relationships, coming out, careers, stress, adjustment, identity, self-esteem, spirituality, or any other relevant topic. The goal of the group is to create an open and respectful space where queer folks can explore topics that impact our daily lives with support from our peers. The group will be led by Joey Hannah from UT’s Counseling and Mental Health Center. Students are not required to be CMHC clients to attend and do not have to fill out any paperwork to attend.
