The Neighborhood Longhorns Program (NLP) relies on the generous support of its donors. As The University of Texas at Austin’s outreach program for Title I elementary and middle schools in Austin, NLP helps over 5,500 students increase their overall grade average and attendance through tutoring and educational incentive programs.
More than 300 UT student volunteers provide tutoring, homework assistance, and organize on-campus activities for the NLP students. The program’s educational incentives include tours of UT with faculty and students, attending academic and athletic events on campus, and a scholarship award for successfully completing the program.
Your support ensures the academic success of every NLP student and helps provide opportunities that motivate students to reach their full potential.
