THANK YOU for your interest in the 2013 UT Latino Male Symposium. Our event was held on Friday, June 7th, 2013, at the Student Activity Center Ballroom at UT-Austin.
This year we had over 200 attendees who had the opportunity to hear a variety of perspectives from our featured panelists and keynote speaker as well as our student mentors and colleagues who joined the conversation addressing the educational achievement of Latino males. The UT Latino Male Symposium was hosted by Project MALES, and initiative of the Division of Diversity & Community Engagement at UT-Austin. Our sincere thanks to our major sponsors that helped to make this event such a success: the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Gates Millennium Scholars Program, TG, the Greater Texas Foundation, and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
