On Thursday, February 12, 2015, Dr. Victor Sáenz and Dr. Luis Ponjuán visited the White House for the My Brother’s Keeper Challenge National Convening. This event took place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Sáenz and Dr. Ponjuán joined the convening as speakers in a discussion series sharing their experiences and insights regarding their work through Project MALES and the Texas Education Consortium for Males Students of Color. The discussion series brought together approximately 200 representatives from various communities. Project MALES and the Texas Education Consortium for Male Students of Color are 100% in support of President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Initiative.
