Project MALES would like to congratulate Mike Gutierrez for receiving the 2015 Rose Martinez Student Excellence Award at this year’s Division of Diversity and Community Engagement’s (DDCE) end-of-year celebration. Mike was chosen from a select group of talented students throughout the DDCE. Mike is our Lead Site Coordinator and will be graduating this spring with a Master’s in Education with a specialization in College & University Student Personnel Administration. We would like to acknowledge him for all his great and important contributions to Project MALES for these last two years, his leadership with our student mentors, and his engagement with our community and school partners.
His hard work and dedication make him stand out and exemplifies the caliber of our students in Project MALES. We are extremely happy with his recognition and congratulate him on this achievement. Project MALES has been fortunate to have such a talented and committed Graduate Assistant in Mike. We wish him well on his next phase in his career.
