On Thursday February 11th, Mr. Jonathan Barona, Scholars Services Manager for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) kicked off our Spring Platica Series. Mr. Barona is responsible for providing retention support to HSF scholars and managing special scholarship programs, He supports HSF’s mission by serving as a resource for HSF scholars and providing guidance and tips to help scholars succeed in college. With more than 8 years of experience in the nonprofit sector Mr. Barona works with K-16 students and parents in all aspects of educational, personal, and professional development, to ensure that students meet their educational and personal goals.
Our mentors had the opportunity to hear Mr. Barona speak on how they can fund a graduate school education. Mr. Barona provided our students with valuable information regarding scholarships, fellowships, and grants available for undergraduate students who plan to pursue a graduate degree Thanks for joining Mr. Barona we look forward to future collaborations with you and HSF!
