With three weeks away from our 3rd Annual Texas Male Student Leadership Summit we wanted to give you a sneak peak at some of the things you can look forward to at the Summit. All pre-conference activities, featured speakers, and session panels will focus on three themes/goals–Leadership, Brotherhood, and College and Career Development. This year our featured keynote speakers will be Dr. Luis Ponjuán, Mr. Ernesto Mejia, and Dr. Cesar Cruz. Dr. Ponjuán, one of the co-founders of Project MALES, is an Associate Professor of Higher Education Administration in the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. Mr. Mejia, a returning keynoter and popular session leader, is a co-founder of CoolSpeak, a youth engagement project that leverages the “cool language” kids speak to design and develop programs and events for youth.
